What is Environmentally Degradable Plastic (EDP)?
What is it? It is a type of plastic designed to transform chemically when put under set environmental conditions.
These specific conditions will cause these plastics to lose certain properties such as becoming brittle, splitting, becoming lighter, before entering biodegradation or, simply put, becoming food for micro-organisms (bacteria).
